There's beauty in the simple. In what's left unsaid. Here, you will find a selection of small, semi-abstract watercolours, shaped by the fluid, unexpected moods of nature — her hues, her light, her quiet in-between hours.

Summer Never Came
NOK 1,100.00

The sky hangs low, a misty veil over a long forgotten promise of a summer that never quite arrived. A quiet study in the fickle, changeable beauty of Nordic seasons — never quite what you expect.

Hidden Hour
NOK 1,600.00

Dusk hushes in, soft as a blanket over the land, thick and quiet. A gentle mist sweeps slowly across the lake, and the light feels elusive, as if the world is holding something just out of sight.

Wintering
NOK 450.00

Scant snow on barren fields. Winter holds its grip a little longer, reluctant to let go. Small in size, but not in feeling — this piece holds its own, especially with a generous mat and a thin oak frame to let it breathe.

My paintings are small, but each carries a lot of meaning. Given enough breathing space, even the smallest piece can hold its own on a wall — sometimes more than a large one ever could.

I love a generous mount, teamed with a simple frame in either oak or walnut, or a thin, black metal frame for a starker look. The mount does the quiet work of giving the piece room to be seen — don't be afraid to go bigger than you'd expect.
